Toilet humour aside

The arrival of COVID-19 in Australia has led to panic buying in our supermarkets.

While the focus on toilet paper initially tickled Australians’ sense of humour, there is a serious side to this behaviour, particularly for those who are less able, economically and physically, to buy what they want.

In The Guardian today, two of our leading behavioural scientists, Liam Smith (Director) and Celine Klemm, give their perspective on the issue and admit that they’re not immune to panic buying either. Story here.
