Change Room 12 - Dark Arts

Master manipulators

Do you get that ominous feeling when a number appears on your phone you don’t recognise? While BehaviourWorks is committed to behaviour change for good, not everyone is.

In this ‘Dark Arts’ Change Room (August 22 in Melbourne), we look at the dark side of influencing our behaviour, when we’re manipulated by those out for financial reward.

Geoff Paine and BWA newcomer Abby Wild expose some of the tricks scammers, telemarketers and others use to manipulate us.

We cover the basic principles used by scammers and describe how they play on our human foibles to win our trust.

We also have tips and resources to protect ourselves against the Dark Arts.  See highlights here.
