Dr Breanna Wright

Health & Social Portfolio Co-Lead

Senior Research Fellow

Breanna is the co-lead of the BWA Health & Social Portfolio, looking after a team of researchers that apply behavioural science principles to issues such as patient safety, women’s health, workplace safety, social inclusion, family violence, community resilience and long-term flourishing.

As Senior Research Fellow, Breanna has led a wide spectrum of health and social projects for government and community sector organisations including the Department of Health, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA), SaferCare Victoria, The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), the Paul Ramsay Foundation, OzChild, WorkSafe Victoria and Respect Victoria.

Breanna's Phd research at Monash University investigated longitudinal mental health patterns and their relationship to help-seeking behaviour and engagement with treatment. She undertook her undergraduate and honours studies in psychology at the University of Melbourne exploring the dynamics of personality on relationships.

Breanna’s research interests focus primarily on unpacking and exploring the drivers and barriers to behaviours in a range of different contexts and understanding the differences between groups of people to better inform the development of successful solutions.
